Most nurseries stocked only one or two varieties. And none had the specific varieties I was looking for. After some googling I found a wide selection of bamboo species, including the two I needed, at Exotic Bamboo. At first I was reluctant to order, as payment needed to be made upfront and I had no idea of the size, condition, or even whether the plants would arrive at all! But my concerns were dashed when my beautiful plants arrived. Not only were they all present and correct, they completely exceeded my size expectation. I was expecting cutlings or small plants. Not at all! The Moso Bamboo (Phyllostachys Edulis) are taller than me! And the Arrow Bamboo (Pseudosasa Japonica) reach up to my shoulders and are lush and glorious. I could not be happier.
